Why I Started MichiMonsterArt: Bringing Creativity Back to Anime inspired Art
Have you ever walked into a store or scrolled through anime merch online and thought, “Wait… didn’t I already see this before?”That’s exactly how I felt. Everywhere I looked, the same designs kept popping up—generic, mass-produced, and lacking the spark that first made me fall in love with anime.
That’s when I knew I had to do something about it.
My Love for Anime & Art
Hi, I’m Michelle 👋 but most people know me as the artist behind MichiMonsterArt. Anime has always been a big part of my life—it’s where I found stories that inspired me, characters I connected with, and endless creativity that pushed me to start drawing.
Over time, my art became more than just doodles in a sketchbook. It became a way to express myself and share the kind of imaginative, colorful world that anime opened up for me.
The Problem With Generic Anime Products
But as much as I love anime, I started to notice a problem. So many of the products out there—whether it’s posters, stickers, or merch—felt… the same. Recycled designs, factory-made, and missing the personal touch that makes art special.
I didn’t want to just collect stuff. I wanted to collect art that felt meaningful, unique, and creative.
The Birth of The Brand
That’s how MichiMonsterArt was born. My goal is simple: to bring creativity back into anime-inspired art. I create original stickers, prints, and buttons that aren’t mass-produced but instead come from the heart. Every design I make is personal, playful, and made for fans who are looking for something different—something real.
